The Wat Tyler Revolution
WI Wat Tyler's peasant uprising in England had succeeded? They had occupied London, killed several odious officials, and even essentially took the young King Richard II hostage.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peasants%27_Revolt http://www.britannia.com/history/docs/peasant.html How might things look if feudalism was essentially abolished in the late 1300s? |

i wondered about this a while ago it was the uprising of the Great Companie (which was probably fictitious). I would love this to happen, but one problem i ran into was that the peasants, while hating much of the gentry and especially those influencing the king, fully supported their richard 2, and it was he who, ironically, was their downfall. If they are somehow more powerful and manage to influence the young king greater....
heh, it'd be strange to see how the revolutionary's views on the communal owership of women play out. |
