The Twelve!

Brought to you by Marvel Comics(meh) and J Michael Stracyznski(cheers).

Here they are, guys! Back from the past! The new adventures of such intrepid WWII champions as Rock Man, Dynamic Man, Mastermind Excello and the Phantom Reporter!

almost hurt myself laughing just reading the names, and I needed a good laugh

Oh yes, I picked up issues 0, 1 and 2 on Friday. It's shaping up to be an interesting ride.

Might I also suggest "Project Superpowers" from Dynamite Entertainment.

It features a similar backstory, Golden Age superheroes re-emerging in the present day, but with a quite different rationale. It features public domain superheroes including some who appeared in Alan Moore's "Terra Obscura" series, like the Black Terror and Pyroman.

The plotting, covers and art direction are by Alex Ross.
