Political aftermath of Operation Wet Pussy(cat)

This is NOT to be a discussion on whether the Germans can do it or not, so don't.

What I wish to discuss is the political aftermath, from the following assumptions.

Battle of Britain goes better for the Luftwaffe, continue attacking airfileds longer, RAF pulled back.
Germans attempt to invade, destroyed by Royal Navy forces in the channel, coastal artillery, and RAF raids.
A few RN destroyers and escorts sunk in Channel, total destruction of German forces.

Now, whats different is that there is no myth built up about the "Few", instead its the Navy which saves the day.

How would this change British post-war politics, especially funding to the RN and the RAF?
