Where would Jesus Go
The are a lot of senarios where Jesus leaves Palestine for one reason or another. Its said that he went to Himalaya when he was young. He could leave when his enemies starting to plot against him. And there is the da Vinci Code plot where Maria Magdalene took his child to France. And I think SuperJesus would go to Rome.
So where would it make sence to go? West to Rome or France. South to Africa. East to Asia or North to some place north? |

Alexandria, of course. It has a large Jewish community and plenty of opportunities for bright kids.

Just remember - eventually, he has to go back to Palestine to do his public ministry.
Thus, I think a possible scenario would be when he meets the Magi. |

In his early life he would probably go to Alexandria. The tradition that he went to Britain with Joseph of Arimethea is unlikely. After the 'execution' where he was either substituted by another (Koran) or somehow was taken down while still alive, the tradition says he went to India. He would have to leave the Empire if he had fooled the authorities or had struck a deal with Pilate. Going East is the only real alternative. |

^ That would certainly fit the "Black Madonna" painting!
More so than the Fallen Madonna with the Big Boobies! |

I read one theory that says Jesus went to England, specifically the area around Wales. The story I read one time suggested that Joseph of Aramathea was an uncle to The Virgin Mary. As a merchant he bought tin which was mined in what is today Wales. When the child Jesus was threatened, his Great Uncle Joseph of Aramathea moved Mary, Joseph, and Jesus to Wales.
The story also claimed as a young man in his teens and early 20's, Jesus worked as a miner in the tin mines. It also claimed that even today when a load of tin is shipped out, Welsh miners as a kind of prayre over the shipment would say, "The Lord was in the trade." The truth is we will probably never know where Jesus spent most of his life or what he did with or experienced during those years, and there will always be stories, rumors, and speculation about that. |

Actually he lived to Egypt for a couple of years when he fled from Palestine as an infant with Mary and Joseph to avoid the wrath of Herod the Great...
He returned anyway and lived to Nazareth... Crucified and resurrected in Jerusalem... and ascended to heavens 40 days after his Resurection...

According to orthodox Christian dogma, that is. History knows better than to take the relation of supernatural events at face value.
