Post-GW1- coalition doesn't abandon Kurds & Shi'ites
Hope this hasn't been covered before- WI the coalition hadn't after the GW1 ceasefire ended up abandoning the Kurds and Shi'ites after their risings against Saddam- due to Bush snr's encouragement- and instead took decisive action to stop Iraqi helicopter gunships and Republican Guard units from cracking down on the anti-Saddam insurgents ? WI there'd been more active military support by the US, UK and other coalition forces instead of just the band-aid humanitarian interventions of Op PROVIDE COMFORT and the No-Fly Zones ?

The Coalition that is still there would likely cause the same crap that we have now - the Shia would cause a massive ruckus across Iraq, and the Sunnis would retaliate.

Then again it might split up too.
