What do you think of the Panay War ATL?

It's meant to be a different version of an AH thought experiment to create an evil America from WWII as seen in Dark America. Long story short, it has the plot by the industrialists against FDR succeeding, a brief civil war occurring, in the aftermath an AH character (pretty much a darker, far-reaching Truman analogue) becoming president. This also leads to the most massive version of WWII that I've ever come across in an AH. The Allies vs. the Axis and the Soviets. A basically 20-year long war. Insane and quite implausible, but also freaking epic.

Sounds interesting, although I think that no country on Earth could afford to make a modern war for 20 years.

This sounds like the one in AlternateHistory.com site under Web Directory.Specifically it was listed in WW2 era scenarios .Don't recall who read it, though.Was it the same guy who composed this one I just read?Ian?
