Facist Germany AND Russia - 1939

This has probably been discussed before, but:

What if there is no communist takeover in Russia, but due to the unstable situation, Russia is still forced to withdraw from WWI. The end of the War and the early 20s will still go very similar to OTL.

In Russia, the monarchy is overthown for good in around 1920. An unstable democratic gov't is installed, but it is composed of so many competing factions it can't get anything accomplished - a mirror of the situation developing in Germany.

After Hitler rises to power in Germany (or at the same time), a similar regime gains control of Russia.

Can the two powers find common ground with practically identical idealogies? Will they become strong allies, or will they have a non-agression pact that actually stands up? How does this affect relations with Italy? With Japan? How does WWII start?

About the only way Hitler will still rise in Germany is if France and other Latin countries go Communist. Maybe the Tsar stays on the throne but is forced to give up alot of power, he then supports a Russian Mussolini to take control of the country.

In France there is a popular uprising against the capitalist government and the Communists come to power in the 1920s, something similiar happens in Italy and Spain.

Hitler then comes to power in the 1930s liking the Slavs but with a very anti-Latin message.

Here's a crazy idea: Why not just have Mussolini stay a Socialist? He was pretty red before the Great War after all. Mussolini overthrowing the established order in the 1910's/1920's would generate a good amount of hysteria in West Europe. And if a ISSR* is around spreading Communism in Southern Europe and the African colonies, many more nations will turn to strongly anti-Communist leaders, rabid demagogues like Hitler included.

*This ISSR (Italian Socialist State Republics) and scenario is shamelessly taken from my Crazy Days ATL, which I am still currently working on.
