Star Wars PODs: Episode V

Here is part 2 of my Star Wars PODs:

Discussion and speculation welcome.

Epsisode V:

Luke doesn't get attacked by the ice creature, doesn't see vision of Obi Wan (doesn't go to Dagobah, doesn't meet Yoda, doesn't go to Cloud City?)

Admiral Ozzel opts for prudence not surprise (survives, not sure what other effects it would have other than Piett not becoming Admiral at that time)

Millenium Falcon fails to take off and escape from Hoth (Leia, Chewbacca and Han captured or killed, C3PO deactivated...recognised by Vader?))

Luke doesn't go into the Dark Side tree on Dagobah, or if he does, he decides not take any weapons with him (does not have lightsaber duel with image of Vader)

Yoda tells Luke Vader is his father (reluctance to fight him later on?)

C3PO isn't rescued before he's melted down (not around to save rebel team on Endor by pretending to be a deity, Han and others speared/cooked? Luke might get them out of that fix by himself)

Carbon freezing of Han fails fatally (Leia falls into depression? Ends up bonking Luke?)

Luke's lightsaber hit on Vader's shoulder is more serious (Vader badly injured, loses fight, or it is a draw somehow)

Luke decides not to jump and goes with Vader (joins Dark Side..NOW what happens?)

Millenium Falcon is caught by Executor's tractor beam and fails to escape (Luke, Leia, Lando, Chewbacca, R2D2 and C3PO captured)

Heh... I'd imagine a father/son team of Luke/Vader ends up taking on the Emperor, and probably winning. I'd imagine Vader going down in a duel, but not before injuring or tiring the Emperor enough for Luke to win. At that point, can we say Emperor Luke?

Lost scene from The Empire Strikes Back:

A furious lightsaber duel is underway. DARTH VADER is backing LUKE SKYWALKER towards the end of the gantry. A quick move by Vader, chops off Luke's hand! It goes spinning off into the ventilation shaft. Luke backs away. He looks around, but realizes there's nowhere to go but straight down.

Darth Vader: Obi Wan never told you what happened to your father.

Luke: He told me enough! He told me you killed him!

Darth Vader: No, Luke... I am your father!

Luke: No. It can't be. That's not true. That's impossible!

Darth Vader: Search your feelings Luke... you know them to be true.

Luke: NOOoooo!

Darth Vader: Yes, it is true... and you know what else? You know that brass droid of yours?

Luke: Threepio?

Darth Vader: Yes... Threepio... I built him... when I was 7 years old.

Luke: No! ... Wait, huh?

Darth Vader: Seven years old. And what have you done? Look at yourself. No hand. No job. And you couldn't even levitate your own ship out of the swamp...

Luke: But... I destroyed your precious Death Star!

Darth Vader: But that was when you were 20! When I was 10, I single-handedly destroyed an entire Trade Federation Droid Control ship!

Luke: Well, it's not my fault...

Darth Vader: Oh, here we go... "Poor me... my father never gave me what I wanted for my birthday... boo hoo, my daddy's the Dark Lord of the Sith... Nobody loved me... waahhh wahhh!"

Luke: Shut up!

Darth Vader: You're a slacker! By the time I was your age, I had already exterminated the Jedi knights!

Luke: I used to race my T-16 through Beggar's Canyon.

Darth Vader: Oh, for the love of the Emperor... 10 years old, winner of the Boonta Eve Open... the Only human to ever fly a Pod Racer... right here baby!

Luke looks down the shaft. Takes a step towards it.

Darth Vader: I was wrong... You're not my kid... I don't know whose you are, but you sure ain't mine.

Luke takes a step off the platform, hesitates, then plunges down the shaft.

Darth Vader looks down after him.

Darth Vader: And get a haircut!

That is such a cool joke ljofa but where is it from

"Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father" Vader taunted the young Jedi

"He told me enough" Luke quipped "He told me you killed him."

"No! I am your father."

"Nooooooooo" Luke's head started spinning, what sort of trickery is Vader trying to pull on him. "Thats Impossible"

"Search your feelings Luke, you know it to be true"

The anger began to fill Luke's heart, his whole life had been a lie. He had grown up on a backwater desert world on the fringes of the Outer Rim. Taken from his heritage, orphaned twice with the deaths of his Uncle and Aunt and his mentor Obi-Wan. The young man stared blankly at the black clad Sith Lord, the man he had feared in the past years since Yavin was the man he had admired the most.

"You don't yet realize your importance Luke, we can end this destructive conflict and rule the galaxy as father and son." The Dark Lord extended his hand "Join me Luke, I shall complete your training, and our destinies will be one."

Still emotionally distraught Luke grabbed Vader's hand and felt himself being pulled to the safety of the platform. The raw energy of father and son flowed between them.

Taken on the Executor, Luke was fitted with a new hand while his father constructed him a lightsaber.

Fleeing Bespin in the Millenium Falcon, Leia felt Lukes fall to the Darkside. "Luke" she whispered. Looking to realize Chewie was staring at her "I feel something terrible has happened to Luke"

Hours passed, Leia couldnt sleep, her heart weighed to heavy with the loss of Han and the unshakeable feeling something had happened to Luke. Stepping out of the shower she slipped on her bathrobe and began drying her hair.

"Leia" A warm but strange voice called in the darkness

"whose there?" Leia jumped, only to see the apparation of an old man dressed in Jedi robes staring at her "General Kenobi?"

"Leia, you are the last hope. You must go to Dagobah"

"Dagobah? Whats on Dagobah?"

"Go to Dagobah Leia and meet Jedi Master Yoda, you are the last hope." Ben said disappearing

"Last hope?" Leia stared at the place the spirit had stood
