Xuanzang doesnt go to India
So for whatever reason, be it he decides otherwise or is prohibited from doing so, the monk Xuanzang doesnt travel to India, and doesnt obtain important Sanskrit buddhist texts for translation into chinese. What does this mean for Buddhism and the history of china?

Well, there'd be some other monk travelling to China who'd bring the Greater Vehicle sooner or later.
