I got the following map of Africa from my cross-time scooper:
Northern fifth, west to east is Pulo, Morocco, Tripoli and a Funj which is or rules Egypt.
Next fifth is "Empire of Oyo, Nupe and Igala Triumvirate", Dunjur, Ethiopia and "Harar States".
Middle fifth is Loango, Banto Federation, and Mombasa State.
Then is Matambe Federation and Maravi
Southern fifth is Koiso.

OK, how did THAT come about
