Princess Victoria was received in France as a commoner and was later was able to go to Italy where she would find the Jacobite heir, Francis of Modena.

Princess Victoria fell in love with the Jacobite heir Francis of Modena who filled her with love and married him in the Tender age of 20, finally she felt real love and happiness, Francis of Modena would later convert to Anglicanism.

The two became the rulers of Britain and thus an Italian man became the Prince Consort of Britain and united the two lines the Jacobite and the Sophia succession and they spread their love to the British colonies and became staunch advocates of the abolition of slavery.

And John Conroy, Lehzen and the duchess of Kent, not to mention the king, court and parliament are just going to allow the heiress presumptive of the throne to traipse off to Europe? And why would she be received in France as a commoner? Plus, does William live to 1840 so that his niece can still be mooncalfing it in Italy with the duke of Modena, because if she marries him before William dies, she immediately voids her own right to the throne, although the act of settlement says nothing about a sitting monarch marrying a Catholic AFAIK

Does Francis change his religion?

Otherwise, marriage to a Catholic will remove Victoria from the succession.

Before or after the wedding? would the Habsburgs really allow one of their own to convert? I suppose they might if a crown was at stake - but this is also the 19th century (they weren't exactly into crown-collecting as much as they used to).

Might be interesting to see how Francesco turns out in London, given that he had an abhorrence of anything remotely liberal, speaking of participants in an uprising in 1848 he said "the traitors have been caught, now fetch me the hangman".

I think we would have a more badass period if he does become the Prince consort.
