Alternate mon emblem thread

A mon is a Japanese-style emblem that is very recognisable. By function they are similar to a Coat of Arms, but much simpler in design: they usually take a circular or equilateral shape, encircling the figure of a plant, animal, man-made, natural or celestial objects, all abstracted to various degrees.
Several mons or mon-esque symbols are well-known:

I was wondering if people would be interested in making Mons. I'll be posting here now and then, but right now I'm out of ideas. Think Roudels, but more intricate in design.
Go crazy!

Nice idea for a thread, I hope you'll get some additional contributions. :)

Sadly, I don't really know much about Korean emblems and heraldry.

For what I know, I don't think Korea has much of emblemes/heraldry - at least not up to Japanese levels. Heraldry tends to develop when there are many competing fiefdoms within a geographically similar region - like Europe, for example.
I mean, Korea's system is so devoid of culture in a way that even the names of the provinces are basically the first characters of the two largest cities.
:p

The title character's one from Usagi Yojimbo always amused me. Something like:
interesting mon!
Here's a thought. Would the Taeguk on the flag of Korea count as a mon? Or would its representation be too philosophical?
