What if 1868, Leopold, Prince of Hohenzollern, accepted to offer to become King of Spain. Would France declare war? If so, what would the wars likely outcome be? And, what would the government of this new Spain be like after the war, especially in regards to its relationship to Prussia, or later Germany?
