Here we go. Many excellent flags this time, regardless of my early worries that I'd set a naff challenge.

In order of submission.

1.
GREATER PACIFIC FEDERATED ISLANDS

Includes thousands of islands in all parts of the Pacific. Grew out of the Greater Pacific Economic Community.

Blue = Ocean, Green = Islands, Gold = Sunshine.

2.
The League of the Pacific

The League of the Pacific was founded to integrate the armed forces of many islands in the Pacific Ocean and to work towards economic convergance. An almost inevitable drift towards political integration occurred and after 42 years the League was replaced by the Union of the Pacific.

This is the flag used by the League.

3.
SOUTH PACIFIC AMALGAMATION of NEOCRATIC KAKISTOCRACIES

With the abrupt ending of colonialism in the South Pacific following World War Two there was a period of upheaval during which many political ideologies swept the islands in the area. From totalitarian to near anarchic states came and often went rapidly. Then in the 1960s the alliances of the Monarchies and those of the People’s Republics commenced a series of ‘brush-wars’ which from time to time included raids on those island groups that had adopted the laissez-faire doctrines of Neocratic Kakistocracy. In a surprising move, which some said was contrary to their doctrines, 36 of these island groups started to work together for self-defence, forming the South Pacific Amalgamation of Neocratic Kakistocracies.

The flag has blue/white waves (representing the ocean) and a yellow hoist end bearing 36 black stars.

The Great Hawaiian Empire [Nui Hawai'i Aupuni'emepela] started out as a small island kingdom; the islands of the Hawaiian Island Chain were united under one king during the first half of the seventeenth century. Over the following two centuries, thanks to innovative ship building pioneered by [Insert PODed person here], the Hawaiians expanded throughout the Pacific. By the end of the eighteenth century, the Hawaiian Empire throughout the Polynesia Islands. From OTL Hawaii to Chatham Island, and from Vanuatu to French Polynesia.

The flag was created in the nineteenth century; the colors based off of the personal banner of the Royal Family, with two oars representing the nations rich sea fearing history, and a royal Kahili. The nine stripes represent the nine islands of the original kingdom. In the late nineteenth century, a Southern Cross was added to the flag, to represent the islands later added to the Empire.

5.
The current flag of the People's Republic of Transpacifica (a constituent republic of the Union of American People's Republics) was established on November 7, 1936. It consists of a light blue field, with four white stars in the fly, and a 24-pointed white star below a red canton with the Emblem of the UAPR. Between 1934 and the adoption of the new flag, a version of the Hawaiian flag with the UAPR emblem in the canton was used.

6.
THE PACIFIC OCEAN CONFEDERATION

The 11 Years War between the United Kingdom of North America (and its allies) and the Sino-Japanese Social Union (and its allies) wreaked havoc on many hundreds of islands in the Pacific Ocean. Following the uneasy Armistice between the exhausted warring nations, the pacific islands formed their own association which was eventually able to drive out the remnants of the troops and civilians of American and Asian nations. The Pacific Ocean Confederation was formally inaugurated on 1 January 1957.
