Alternate Russian Flag

In OTL, this "Romanov" flag was used by the Russian Empire from 1858-1883. So what if this flag is still used today? How will it affect the flags after 1883? (I kind of like this flag a little since it's original than red, white and blue)

How is it more original than the red, white and blue?

I actually agree with him, it is more unique than using the already then popular "Slavic tricolour", which many states adopted during the 19th century. There are few European flags that use the same colours as that short-lived Tsarist tricolour.

In any case, I don't think it could last till present day since it was far too connected to the Romanov dynasty since it was just a heraldic flag.
