NUMBER OF THE BEAST or WORLDS OF THE IMPERIUM

OK, pickem. Whis is better Heinlein's novel in which the heroes are able to go through a LOT of universes or Laumer's WORLDS OF THE IMPERIUM where BRyan BAYARD ends up in a new place thanks to a cross time device? Explain your choice.

Easy. The Laumer book is fun. The Heinlein, like so many of his later books, wouldn't have got there apart from the author.
