What if all countries had to use Canton style flags?

A spin off from this thread.

The idea is simple. Just as in the aforementioned thread, we redesign OTL flags (historical or current) so that they have a canton design.

Whatever you put in the field or the canton is up to you.

Well, the US is easy. Maybe Canada would be a red flag with a red maple leaf on a white canton?

(I am partial to the idea of a uniquely Canadian canton flag, but it would be red leaf on a white canton, with a red field and a blue stripe up the right, as a first guess.)
