I can't find anything on it. Untied States, hmm...the obvious one is the ACW (he even used Untied States as a headline in The Victorious Opposition) but I think we all agree that any MORE variations on the ACW by Turtledove will result in AH.com's forums running with blood...

Either that or he's ripping off Decades of Darkness

Yet another AH.

Breakpoint is that the USA never ratified the Constitution, and the
states, stuck with the Articles of Confederation, broke apart into
rivalrous nations. It's set on the Ohio-Virginia border (no WV in this
alternate, of course). She's visiting relatives on the VA side of the
border with her obnoxious grandmother; he's there from Crosstime
Traffic. The border gets closed as war breaks out. Ohio encourages
a black uprising in VA, which is aggressively segregated. Assorted
complications ensue

Thanks.I misread the Locus material. It is UNTIED states....Looks like it might have been influenced by Probability Broach by Smith.There-you have the Articles of Confederation supercede the Constitution.

Sounds like Turtledove is doing his own version of "Forest of Time". I wonder if it'll be as good.
