Map Continuation Z - Europe

I've been away from the site for a while, but one of things which I loved the most about coming here was playing Map Continuation. So I decided I'd take a shot in the dark and get the ball rolling for one since I have a few weeks free.

Note, the Z is not to do with Zombies. Rather, I didn't know how many Map Continuations were out and I knew X was taken.

First thing's first, I give you the United Socialist Republics of Ireland, or Aontaithe Shóisialach bPoblachtaí na hÉireann.

also title should be Map Continuation XIII because roman numbers are been used for all map continutions

Traditionally no, the POD is figured out after most of the starting map is filled in. Edits to nations are then changed a bit to conform to the POD.

And yes the maps can be odd (look up the original MC), that's why retro-editing takes place. Figuring out a decent POD is part of the fun though.

Usually the approximate date of the PoD is given early on. It prevents things like neo-Akkadians coexisting with former Belgian colonies.

IIRC, "Map Continuation X" was given that name to represent an unknown number, but when we looked into it it turned out, by coincidence, to be the tenth one. :D

Funny:D. Hope it was fun to do.

I did the original MC, MC2 (which was a complete cluster F*** and died a quick death), and MC3 which was done fairly decently.
