Domesticated Dolphins

Ok, I might be a bit overzealous with the posting recently, but I've suddenly had quite a few great ideas.

Anyway, what if some society (likely one that relies on fishing alot) fully domesticated the dolphin? They could probably be used almost like sheep dogs, herding the schools of fish into the nets of the fishers, as well as being good companions (though not as convenient as dogs).

Anyway, this could help out with fishing yields, which, in turn, could lead to more powerful fishing societies.

"So George I see you're building a 1:1 scale replica of the Cystal Palace."

"No, just a new tank for the kid's pets."

however, there is a LOT of doubt on how true this is - its approaching urban legend status.

Interesting. Though Orcas do count as dolphins by some definitions. Just really big dolphins.
