Have I become the new Forum Languages guy today or something? First I translate Keenir's intranslatable post, and now this...

I think AH.com is naturally developing into a Heroes parody, without any assistance from me or other writers First Baldie gains the ability to spot troll sockpuppets immediately, and now you can translate unintelligible posts...

Here is your 1900 Europe map, finally. On ths map I have indicated the states in the German Empire, The Crown Lands in Austrian half of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and the principal divisons in the Hungarian half. I have also depicted the Velayats (provinces in the Ottoman Empire, and the governments (guberniias), in the Russian Empire. I designed the map to be purely a reference map. (To other AH.commer's, don't razz me about not using the UCS, for I will post another version using the UCS at a later time.) Anyways, I hope this map will suit your needs, enjoy! Q

(I left Wales on because I need it to work out the county boundaries, OK? )

Here is a cleaned up version. I fixed some of the line work, and got rid of some blurred areas I have noticed. If you don't get a chance to add the English counties, and French departements, maybe I will add them on this map later. Just let me know if you will add them in or not, and I can go from there. Now here's the 1914 Europe map w/ the Int'l boundaries in the Balkans corrected. I enlarged Montenegro, because the Sanjak of Novi Pazar was split between Serbia and Montenergo, and changed part of the Romanian/Bulgarian border near the Black Sea, because Romania was given Southern Dobruja from Bulgaria. I have modified parts of the Serbian/Bulgaria border in accordance to treaty settlements after the Second Balkan war. (Also applies to the Romanian/Bulgarian border.) I have even made slight modifications to the Ottoman border in Europe.

Yes I am aware, just showed it as part of A-H because for that reason, under A-H admin/occupation since 1878, despite not being formally annexed to A-H until 1908.

The Rumania-Hungary border looks a bit off, as do the Thuringian states.

The Thurinigian States look screwy, because, when Thande copied my map, he removed the text, and in the process, removed some of the line work, thus making Thuringia look messed up. If you look at my original map, the labelled one I posted yesterday, you will see that Thuringia looks OK. As for the Romanian/Hungarian border, it's not that off, just slightly, because I didn't draw in every little kink in the border.

I'll put a fixed Thuringia on the map.

As someone who owns the 1914 basemap, I will attempt to overlay those borders with those of the base map. This could take a little while, though.
Edit: There, it's done.

Quite untrue, there were two of them around these times. I can't be arsed to put them in right now, though.

Mecklenberg and Mecklenberg-Strelitz.

Now the next big thing will be to add the French départements.
