Inception: The TV Series

I wonder, what would the movie Inception be like as a TV series? The world of Inception seems so deep and complex that somebody could turn the film into an very good TV series, on par with shows such as Firefly or even The Wire. The whole format lends itself to a more complex plot arc than what 150 odd minutes of movie could showcase.

I mean, Dominic Cobb doesn't have to be the main character at all, but he can't possibly be the only extractor out there, can he?

Also, the setting could use a deeper, more thorough exploration of the implications of Extraction (tm), which the movie can't really do.

It probably wouldn't be called "Inception", I guess, as the process of inception is related to that specific heist from the film while a TV series would presumably have more varied plots.

I agree. I could see Inception being an excellent TV series in the right hands.

Extraction would be quite a good name for it.
