WI:Wladyslaw the Elbowhigh is assassinated before his coronation

If he was assasinated before his coronation just like Henry IV the Virtuous, who would rule his lands after his own assassination would his young son be able to rule Poland or John of Bohemia would usurp the throne he claimed?

When before his coronation? He was slowly gaining lands before 1320 (Pomerelia in 1306, Greater Poland in 1314, etc.).
Anyway there is a big chance that Poland will fall apart again. At the time of Władysłąw coronation his son Casimir is only 10, no matter how talented, he wouldn't be able to keep all parts of Poland together. Chances of John of Louxemburg are not bad, IMO - when pope agreed to Władysław's coronation it was only under the condition John's rights are respected. Pope recognized John's claims to Greater Poland, so Władsyław had to be crowned in Cracow, not (traditionally) in Gniezno, and for quite some time Władysław (nd later his son were known as kings of Cracow, not of Poland. Question is how much support could John muster among Poles and if he wouldn't only claimed Greater Poland and Pomerelia. Anyway, his chances are good. IOTL he vassalized Silesia and Masovia and almost captured Cracow in 1327 (only Hungarian intervention saved Władysław's rule).

So that means if Charles Robert of Hungary's earlier wives Maria of Bytom or Beatrice of Luxembourg lived longer John of Bohemia is more likely to gain the Polish throne because he would not have any relation to Wladyslaw the Elbowhigh.
