Disunity?
WI: The following states never merge with others: Castile and Aragon, Scotland and England, and Bavaria with the rest of Germany? Political, social, economic implications?

Scotland-England Sooner or later, Scotland would be vassalized/protected by England. Too much isolated to handle it. Bavaria-Germany Bavaria would turn in a giant Switzerland, with more cows and less banks. Likely to turn as Prussia/German-friendly rather than Austria.
