Richard dean Anderson as one of the chief engineers to add some 'McGyver' flavour to it lol.
(captain just give me some bubblegum and a shoestring and i'll crank r up 2 warp grades) What you see with Doctor WHo is that there are a lot of cameos of well known people, maybe something like that could happen too in this Star Trek (i know it did on a limited scale otl, but i meant even more).
