This is probably the last time I'll vote for the SWP as by the next election, their shitty line on Cuba becomes particularly entrenched and Jack Barnes becomes the new leader, turning the SWP into what could basically be termed the American-wing of the Cuban Communist Party.

Why did 5 people vote for the guy that called for "Segregation Now, Segregation Tomorrow, Segregation Forever!" and blocked blacks from entering the University of Alabama? With a running mate that wanted to arbitrarily nuke Vietnam.

Well, he joined the Light Side later on. Maybe they all just threw their votes away. Or, I guess, they could be Gary Sinise fans.

You know, I find it kinda weird when movie celebrities turn out to be Republican. I suppose it's because the stereotype is that Hollywood is filled with liberals. Sinise is, and I think Bruce Willis too. Wouldn't have guessed it.

So is Clint Eastwood, Adam Sandler, Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger...

All those actually make sense, except for Sandler. That I wouldn't have expected.

Well Eastwood is a econmically moderate right, socially liberal. I expect Sandler to be similar.

No, but he's not really a Republican anymore.
He registered as a Republican for Ike, was a Nixon fan until Watergate, but was against the Korean, Vietnam and Iraq Wars. As the Republicans went more to the right, he started calling himself a "libertarian" (not a Libertarian, mind you) and has endorsed Democrats more frequently now. He did endorse McCain, but the two have been friends since the '70s. The first Bush briefly considered making Mayor Eastwood VP as well.

Kelsey Grammar is also a Republican which I found odd to hear as I will always see him as Dr. Frasier Crane, the most snobby intellectual elitist around.

Kelsey Grammer was also in that dreadful American Carol some years back; methinks he's hard-right, unfortunately...
David Hyde Pierce is gay, so I'm guessing he's a Democrat.

AFAIK, there are gay Republicans, though why they're Republican I do not know. Libertarian I could understand, but not Republican.
