What if the Greenland settlement survives? What could make the Norse in Greenland survive the Little Ice Age?

Only if they kinda go 'native' and take hints and skills from Inuits... so in a way, the colony may be doomed, as they assimilate into a 'inuit métis' new culture maybe.

Perhaps some survivors of the Little Ice Age would migrate to Newfoundland or even Nova Scotia, if they didn't lose shipbuilding skills.

Again, to survive, they will have to adoppt some parts of the inuits liferstyle, so they may be no more norse of old... and there may be no more sources of wood eitheir as well. Specialy if icelanders drop contacts.
