No the staus quo works just fine . I would not like to see a limit placed on free speech on this forum which with respect I believe this to be [no personal insult intended]
If some one comes up with a plausable sceanario well fine ,if not then we decend upon it like a pack of wolves and savage it to death with myself in the pack

This is true, and I didn't actually think of it.

Unlikely things can happen, and we do ourselves a disservice by dismissing everything as ASB if it makes use of that possibility.
Well, yes. Stranger things have happened. Like Maurice Benyovszky. It's just so unlikely that it's patently ridiculous.

The thing is the recent invocations of Sealion seem to come in two varieties:

One the OTL version somehow works with a lot of handwaving of the reasons why it won't.

Or

Two something fantastcial happens to make a Sealion variant work, the entire japanese navy comes to the channel, the Russians build an armada of transport aircraft and parachute in hundreds of thousand of troops.

In theory Sealion threads may not be ASB, in practice they all seem to require the bats getting involved.

I am not sure if theads such as http://alternatehistory.com/discussi...d.php?t=167056 are completely ASB.
