What if Davy Crockett had become President?

What if instead of losing his bid in his 1834 re election to congress and heading to Texas where he died bravely at the Alamo, Crockett wins and later follows Andrew Jackson into the white house in 1838?
How would American history have been changed ?

Davy Crockett would have been nearly 114 years old in order to have him run for President after 1900. (See title of Discussion Board)
