Gingrich assassinated

What if during the Clinton trial Gingrich was assassinated by a deranged lunatic? Let's assume no political motive, like with the Gabby Gifford shooter.
What doe this mean for the Clinton trial? With Gingrich gone it sort of loses it impetus, but inertia makes it move forward.
What is the political blowback from this? As it was the right wing already had conspiracy theories about the Clintons assassinating people in the early 1990's, so would a militant right wing turn to violence, thinking that the Gingrich assassin was a Clinton agent?
