Resupply General Lee
What if the American Civil War kicked off with General Lee and the Confederate army actually having a stable supply chain behind them? During the war, Confederate logistics were horrible, but what if they weren't?
Railroads were all nationalized and brought to a standardized gauge, a few more munitions factories located in the South, the Confederate dollar backed with a little more gold and cotton. Leadership and people remain the same, but the infrastructure they got is better. What would happen?
