I agree with metastasis_d. We don't need a new Map Thread for another twenty pages or so, and besides, you're breaking the tradition of mods starting Map Threads (once in a row is more than enough).

We do actually use the word estado. For example, despite everything over the last 100+ years, the US is still properly referred to as Estados Unidos in Tagalog. See also Reyno Unido (Reino Unido).

It is worth pointing out that the Japanese likened their sphere as to removing western influence in Asia, so estado probably wouldn't be used.

Probably, and in context, you'd be looking at Bansa ng Pilipinas (Country of the Philippines). Note ng as a single word is actually pronounced nang.

Thank you, I'll remember that.

Hmm? With the colours above the names, or something else?

Why not kick the Han State Down a Notch and give land to the Zhuang, Thai, Min, Hakka, Wu, etc.?

It's a thought. I might actually rework the map to include that.

Randomian 2

The Original had 64 Images, this one has 128!

The Eastern World is featured a lot more than in the original, with most of Eurasia being claimed by nations.

Fantastic! I feel I've truly arrived now one of my scenarios has gotten the B_Munro treatment. Very impressive work indeed. Maybe I will make some follow-up maps myself.

Number two!

AFTERMATH - Americas

1. Washington, D.C. and New York City are still uninhabited after the atomic bombings that ended the war, but the government (acting from the temporary capital of Chicago) is eager to start rebuilding once the radiation fades.
2. Every seaport from Anchorage to San Diego is in ruins, but people are rebuilding fast.
3. When Britain and the rest of Europe fell, Canada picked up the pieces. The current monarch is Queen Juliana, after the abdication of Wilhelmina (formerly of the Netherlands).
4. Debates rage in the new Canadian lands between those who prefer to become provinces and those who want independence. The Canadian government waits patiently, plebiscite in hand.
5. The Axis in South America - the fascist governments of Argentina and Bolivia - have emerged victorious in their part of the war, with "stolen" Bolivian territory returned and puppet governments installed in Paraguay, Uruguay and Chile. Brazil was unable to intervene due to internal problems.

Finished Product

I changed the borders in Mexico to something more appropriate for the time period. And with that edit it is 100% complete.

Inspired by Beedok's earlier mega-Canada map, I decided to make my own. Took a few ideas from Beedok though (like the province of Iceland).

Only complaint is that Hudson would probably be called Keewatin, and along with Ungava would likely still be a territory unless you have a lot more people than OTL.

Got it. Yeah, I was thinking that Canada gets a lot more pre-WWI immigration.

Ungava would probably be lucky to get 50 000 people though, so I don't see it being a province anyway.

I guess you're right. But I am too lazy to change it

Also Barbados actually made some efforts to join Canada, so I see them as being a part if Guyana is.

I actually didn't want to include the Barbados.

Forgot why though . . .
