Yes, though it was as impressive as say a country Germany's size doing so; Equatorial Guinea at the time only had about 500,000 people and the government claimed it was actually a little over 1 million, and given the general high population growth rates of Africa* and the country having a good growth rate itself you can see how they could claim it without everyone just staring at them like they were insane.

*For example, the population of Ethiopia in 2000 65.5 million while the present population is 84.3 million, an increase of almost 19 million people in a little over a decade.

The only populated part of the Oregonian Outback worth mentioning is Bend, and they're even bigger leftists than Portland.

Oregon certainly isn't like Washington, which has a heavier agricultural base on either side of the Cascades.

Oregon is like Washington, except after the Urban Western half of the state got settled in the same manner they never go around to settling the Eastern half of it.

Speaking as a lifelong resident of the the Commonwealth, Massachusetts will have single-payer twenty years from now. I'll bet my firstborn's life-insurance policy.

Gotta LOVE that VA provided healthcare.
I don't even need insurance.

Unless the paternity test results say otherwise, I'm going to assume you're not my firstborn.

I'm a little more skeptical; the healthcare industry is huge here and an attempt to work towards single payer was just defeated in the General Court. Plus, the current system seems to work decently well, so if it isn't all that broke there might not be a huge impetus to fix it.

Ah. I'm afraid you must've quoted the wrong person, although if you did mean to ask me, if you give me more information (Rough borders, major cities, member states etc) I might take a stab at it.

Are we still doing most prosperous African nations? My picks are Seychelles, Botswana, Mauritius, Gabon, South Africa, and Tunisia.

If I did'nt have so much else to do (not counting actual important stuff like job searching and looking into school) I'd finish the GCS Chart/Key and post it in response.
