The colour reminded me of of France's MCS colours, "other French" I believe.

End the colour scheme schism? Be careful. When they tried to do that with the papacy, they ended up with yet another pope with a ridiculous name residing in a ridiculous town.

Here it looks dark red. And this is the CCS, the official sucessor to the MCS, which has the same colours for most of them including Other Levantines.

Other Levantines isn't on the MCS, however as this has more colours I shall be using it from now.

A ridiculous number, and none of them have any benefits or drawbacks whatsoever.

That's not really a colour scheme, that's just wahtever you think looks aesthetically pleasing and fits the tone of the map.

I did once think of how to make a political colour scheme, after your mini series with the proper Facist Germany and the Irish commies in the Spanish Civil War.

And that is a lot easier to understand than the monstrosity posted above. The whole point of reforming the UCS was to remove the "multiple similar shades" problem, but the CCS... THING just makes it even worse.

This will probably sound like utter heresy, but keys and annotations on maps are a hell of a lot simpler than the innumerable schemes and schisms infesting this forum like so many maggots in a three-week-dead hooker.
