A fascist south America.

What if in 30s Germany had not become nazist (Hitler is shot in WW-I,Weimer survive) but from 1930 Mexico,Colombia,Venezuela,Perù,Bolivia,Brazil,Paraguay,Uruguay, Chile,Argentina had become all fascists?
Various types of Fascism,obviously.

Depends how expansionist they're going to get, and how much they play ball with the USA.

We did have some actual fascist regimes like that of Hernandez Martinez in El Salvador and plenty of the junta regimes had shades of fascism, if they didn't outright bask in it or show sympathy to them (like Stroessner or Peron).

Or you can just have all those countries jump from one dictatorship to another.

Oh, wait....

This is...frankly ASB. Very specific criteria are required for fascism to appear in a country, to say nothing of actually gaining power. How fascists pulled it off IOTL is pretty damn ASB.

The only noteworthy fascist movement of Latin America IOTL were the Integralists of Brazil, and they came nowhere near gaining power.

Yeah, this is South America in the 1930's. Fascism just isn't going to happen with all the Strongmen and the Conservative Oligarchs in power more or less constantly.
It's rather interesting to note that the only Fasist movement in Latin America to gain any footing at all, Integralismo brasileiro, only got any sort of power with the patronage of the then rulers, and as soon as Vargas declared the Estado Novo in 1937, it's leaders were hunted down like dogs and the movement quietly buried.
You've got to remember in this period Business is booming in South America, things are looking up since the US and UK can't afford to continue to be widely interventionist due to issues at home, and you've got some of the best political operators of the century coming to power in Latin America.

What you've effectively done is ask us "Who would win: the Tea Party, or the Okhrana?"
If you don't get that let me put it this way, It's about as unfair as Muhammad Ali fighting a Hydrocephalic Cripple.

Well, Mexico would have needed the Synarchist movement to be stronger (as in Lev Trotsky dead before he even sets foot on the country or the PRI forming later)

But alas, that's something brought to you by the Murciélagos Alienígenas Voladores.

I always thought that a Cristero victory in the Cristero War could lead to some rather unpleasant developments in Mexico, especially as they get more and more involved with the Synarchists.

Nothing expansionism from Europe, fascist America to fascist American.
Mussolini is only a revered figure.
Possible a sort of fascist league,or community in 40s (Italy,Spain,Hungaria,South American fascist states),in the non aligned country form, not like "axis".
