Collyridianism survives

Came across this in my never ending journey through the internet. ( This search could become a bigger theme, but a mod thought i was promoting bullshit and until one of them explains to me the rules on the presentaion of historical, conspiratorial and esoteric crazy shit i will juststick to one theme at a time.) Anyways heres a link to who the Collyridians were and what they believed http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collyridianism.
If they survived, even in small numbers, how would this influence the rise of islam and subsequent world history. (it may have even influenced a widespread old belief amongst muslims in the past that Mary was a part of the trinity)

You should actually PM the moderators rather than posting a topic for them to get back to you.

As with any scenario, it depends. Given the supposed date of the movement it is unlikely that Islam would have evolved at all, as would any POD set hundreds of years before the event only a few hundred miles away.
