The aforementioned Chinese Jewish monarchy is overthrown in the early 20th century! The new government is leftist, almost socialist, and sets out to basically remove the symbols of the monarchy including, of course, the flag.

Hah! Well, the tits/eyes flag was fun while it lasted. Seriously, no disrespect for that flag. It inspired me.

And well, I also had a new idea, namely an alternate Hungarian flag. Very simple, but quite the nice alternative to the tricolor, while incorporating many elements from it.

Er, no. None of the three flags has a golden background, you know. The white-on-blue cross is actually not a cross, it's Azure, the Crosses Saltire of St Andrew and St Patrick, quarterly per saltire, counterchanged Argent and Gules, the latter fimbriated of the second, surmounted by the Cross of St George of the third, fimbriated as the saltire.

Wait, it's not the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, it's the United Kingdom of England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. I'm basing the Welsh flag on the Flag of Saint David.

Of course. I was referring to your last post. As you made it, however, the Cross St. David's would be Sable, a saltire and a cross Or. However it only is Sable a Cross Or. So a good solution to your problem might be Argent, a Cross Saltire of St. Patrick Gules, thereupon a Cross of St. George Gules, thereupon a Cross of St. David's Or.
