thats the thing; it doesnt look the same without the black background. however, here's the actual symbol, with a red background for contrast. i made it entirely in photoshop. the symbol was originally just part of the black background and i used magic erase to separate it so that i could reuse it if and when i wanted to (i have an entire photoshop file for "miscellaneous symbols", like the ELLU silver hand and laurels that ive used in a few different flags before

As long as we're handing out flags, I need the Swastika added to the center of the Romanian Tricolor. But a skinny Swastika, not as bold as the one on the German flag. If ya'll don't mind.

Not in this timeline. In my Dead By Dawn timeline, the National Christian Defense League, who used the Swastika as their symbol, take control of Romania. As a result, the Swastika gets added to the Romanian flag.

fair enough though I wonder if without the break, the NCDL might not have asserted itself and developed its own symbol (not necessarily the st-michael cross of course). the Parti National-Social Chrétien in OTL canada also started out using a swastika but then switched to something containing beaver, maple leaves and torches to show they weren't just a puppet of germany.

In this timeline, given that the National Socialists never gain control of Germany, Romania is the first nation to add a Swastika to the flag of the nation. Its removed by the government in 1960, but by that time, the Chinese and French have added it to theirs.
