That was the intention. The way I imagined it, the first flag would have been adopted by welington and his successors would have either replace it with their own or simply remove it. Eventualy the actual fascists (cruxists ?) would have adopted the "Wellington Cross" in memory of the founder of the country and their role model.

I'd like to devolve the army symbol into the Flash-and-Circle by some point when they reunite it into one flag for all three armies.
Do you mean you want 3 different design each containing a lighting bolt (like line 1) or the same design reminiscent of that one but adapted to each country (line 2) ?

Chili. They've somehow gained a port to the Atlantic.

The rest of Tierra del Fuego? Perhaps Río Gallegos in Santa Cruz? And I think that's Chile

I'm going to edit the story to fit with that idea, as I like it very much.

Those flags are awesome! Tell y' what, I'm going to use the top three for the Wellington era, as they look more appropriately old-timey, and I'll use the others later. This is gonna be awesome. Thanks a lot!

We don't flame. We hide in a corner in fetal position and go "never forget, never forgive, never forget, never forgive ..."

I know this is a AH flag thread, but seriously, whoever made that South Korean flag is a frakkin' genius.

I would like to request an alternate Flag of Chicago, using the same general motif, but with six stars and three blue stripes. If the stars were five-pointed stars instead of six-pointed that would be great too. This is for a timeline I'm planning on starting this summer.

Thanks so much, guys!

Cheers,
Ganesha

But the flag predates the division of Korea - it was designed in 1882. Admittedly the modern taegeuk (the swirly symbol in the centre) is more simplified than it was originally, but I seriously doubt that symbolism was intended.

Or the person who designed the flag could see into the future?
