The rule of tincture is not pleased. :p Wouldn't a flag with a crescent be appropriate, it being a symbol of Islam, the Turks, Constantinople, and the Virgin Mary?

Eh...that didn't work out. I think it would need to have the green directly on red to look less African and more Ottoman-derived. (The rule of tincture can be bent!) And having the Star of David is just silly; it should be a crescent or just plain stripes.
