TL Help

I need help/info in a couple areas and the TL is culture shock, which is in my sig.

First I'm wondering about Simon Bolivar and Gran Colombia. At of the current date in my TL, Gran Colombia is still together and receiving aid from Peru, Brazil and other South American countries. Also, due to the ISOT, George Washington and the signers of the Declaration of Independence are here. What will Bolivar do with the Founding Fathers around and the knowledge his country broke apart.

Secondly is Angola. Angola is from the start of its civil war. I'm wondering what I should do.

Third is Algeria. It is from after the Allies liberated it in WWI and after De Gaulle arrived. France is from April 1792, right before France declared war on Austria and the monarchy is still in place due to butterflies.

What is the relation between Algeria and the Kingdom of France?

The relation between de Gaulle and the Kingdom?

Sorry I don't really understand the questions tho I've read them a few times... Are different countries from different times arriving in the same place, sort of a multiple ISOT? What is the base year of the rest of the world that all of these emerge in?

When you ask what the relationship between France and Algeria is, what do you mean? Do you mean what does one think a pre-revolutionary France and a post-ww2 Algeria would think of each other? If anything, France would be very confused as to why Algeria thinks its French! Algeria would then sink the French fleet and demand Paris surrender or it would bomb the crap out of it...maybe!

Best Regards

The rest of the world is from OTL 2011

The countries come from different times in history and are placed in OTL 2011.

Mainland France is from April 1792, right before it declared war on Austria.

Algeria is from 1942, after de Gaulle arrived and after the Axis were kicked out.

Would de Gaulle launch an invasion to retake mainland France? Would Napoleon be interested in meeting with de Gaulle and the republicans?

Other questions

Also, I need more info on Angola in 1977 during the Civil War. Would OTL 2011 Africa intervene harshly? Would the West want to get involved?

What did Frederick the Great think of republicanism and democracy?

Was Gran Colombia ready to fall apart in the early 1820s?

1792 Napoleon is just a junior officer in artillery; if you want a military leader look to Hoche, or for politicis...no, early French revolutionary politics is not a strongpoint of mine

Re Angola, without the Cold War the dynamics would be changed considerably, BUT nobody really is bothering about the ongoing civil war in the Congo these days, so intervention just because is probably not on. On the other hand, OTL Cuba can't sustain its 1980s level of support for Angola

Frederick probably thought both republicanism and democracy were evil ideologies, and that enlightened despotism was about as far as anyone should go
