WI Philippine Second Republic Leaders Executed?

So, after World War II, the newly restored Philippine Government had basically arrested the leaders who had collaborated a la Petain (in the form of the Second Republic) with the Japanese. In OTL, they were almost all pardoned, and some became politicians in the postwar governments. What would have happened if their policy had been to try them all for treason and have them hang?

That would require Quezon and his ilk to take a different tack to Laurel. In OTL Quezon practically told Laurel to remain behind and do what he could to keep the Philippines safe for Filipinos.
