If Orman Rovelle Brussells was truly a Communist, then he would be in the Socialist Party of America, not the Republican Party.

He was a Republican before he defected because of his growing hatred for the courupt goverment in DC. that's when he embraced Communisim, and then loved it.

To be brutally honest. He would more likely embrace fascism if he was Republican. If he was Democrat or Socialist, then yeah, Communism.

Blue. ITTL, Fascism never grew to be anything special until the late 40's early 50's, hence Communisim.

Alright, good point. But La Follette and Wallace wasn't communists.

Bob La Follette, Sr., and Henry A. Wallace very strongly disagree.

Anyway, the Kingdom of Quebec, an American ally/puppet. After World War III and the American intervention in Canada, Quebec became independent. They voted to adopt a constitutional monarchy, so Prince Charles, Duke of Flagstaff, was elected king. Charles was a son of Emperor Philip I and was married to Princess Clementine of France, the daughter of King Louis XIX of France. It's a founding member of the new NATO alliance. It has a presidential system, with the current President being Liberal Yves Bachand and the monarch is Henri II, the grandson of King Charles I.

Lenin was a revolutionary from his twenties. By saying that Brussells was a Republican, means that he trusted democracy.

And fascism and communism is not "the same thing, only in different skins". With the background you gave Brussells, he would very likely be a progressive, in the same vein as La Follette and Wallace.

But they were pretty left-wing. When they were both running for President, they had the backing of American socialists.

They ran for president. They worked in the system, not overthrowing it.

I'm just saying that it's not outside of the realm of possibility that a member of the Republican Party from the early 20th century might become a revolutionary communist.

Yeah, but it is far more likely that a Democrat, or a Socialist, would do so.

With what Abby gave Brussells, he would more likely be a progressive, not a hard-line communist. Do you agree?

Maybe today, but not in the early 20th century. Both parties had conservative wings and progressive wings. And no, I don't agree. More likely that he would be a progressive, but perhaps something happened to make his views more revolutionary.

Yes, yes, true.

What would be it? Lenin had his brother be executed for trying to assassinate the Tsar, so maybe Brussells' brother tries to kill the President?
