The rump USA (essentially greater Pennsylvania). From this thread here: http://www.alternatehistory.com/disc...d.php?t=211047

The trend at the time was for the all the colonies to extend their borders infinitely West (often with absurd results as Mass. and Connecticut having claims on modern Michigan and Wisconsin). In this case the Pennsylvanian claim gets extended to the continental divide, which would be hard for the Virginians and/or British to challenge short of war (which would be very risky in such a balkanized / multi-polar scenario)

Why did New York even bother selling the Erie triangle to Pennsylvania? Pennsylvania didn't even have claims to the west! And let's not get into Washington

I recognize the unearthly style of this cartography from the lost depths of Map Thread V: Can it be? Are the stars right? Has one of the Great Old Ones returned?

Yes we should rebuild the temples of the Old Ones.

That is awesome! Probably the best map AH.com has ever had it grace its pages.

It is something you'd find in the cover of a book, more art than anything. Excellent job Sapiento.

That's just me being sloopy. I think 42'n would be a logical border to follow right to the Pacific, since its everywhere in OTL treaties and borders.

Fastforward to WWII, the Soviets, focusing more on the South and facing a more resilient German force in the North (where both sides fight

After the war the allies decide that forming a Jewish state out of German territory is a fitting punishment.
Very interesting... good map...

Maybe it's a bit too ASB, since abolishing the monarchy would likely have caused an intervention of Germany and/or Russia.
In this map, Trieste is a part of Slovenia... uhm... what happened to the italians?

Well, back then Italians were living just in the city (~60% of the city's population), the surroundings were almost completely Slovenian. So I think it wouldn't make sense to leave the city as an enclave.

The Native peoples of North America (okay, with a large amount of Portuguese blood in the ruling class). The Portuguese didn't see any reason to try to take it, so they propped up the locals to keep the Germans out.

A map of the British built Imperial African Railway circa the late 1920s. The railway's route is in neon.

Do we have a decent map of the year 1932 around these parts?
