Cultural/socio-economic differences within the thirteen colonies

I'm looking into colonial America just before and after independence, trying to examine mindsets that came from cultural and economic differences, for a timeline I'm thinking of doing. Obviously the main one was between the free, commercial north and the slave, agricultural south. Other ones I can think of were between the more English-based New England and the more non-English middle colonies, and the Cohee-Tuckahoe split in the South.

Are there any I'm missing? Were there any notable differences in lifestyle between Virginia and the Carolinas? New York state and New England? New York City and Philadelphia? Any others?

All of the colonies with the exception on Pennsylvania were equally English but yes there are massive cultural differences between Rhode Island and Georgia.
