Not like anyone from TL-191 would know or care.

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum
I've checked out most of the pictures, pretty good. And I have a few comments about some other stuff. With Charles Maurras, I can definately see the French putting a random deaf guy as their King; the French have never been to smart. I always thought Featherston kind of look like Reinhard Heydrich. And with TL-191 and OTL comparisons, I think its like this:

This completely ignores the fact that this is NOT what Action Francaise was based around. They wanted a legitimate king not someone pretending to be one.

Yes, but Maurras is the most likely choice. If Action Francaise came in power, they would have nominated Carlos, Duke of Madrid who was the rightful heir to the throne and who would have served as Charles XI. But he died in 1909 in OTL. And if you follow the Orleanists, Jean, Duc de Guise would have become king but he died in 1940. Henri Comte de Paris would have come next, but he was only 33 in 1941. A little to young to lead a revanchist nation into a world war if you ask me. Charles Maurras was a big supporter of Action Francaise in OTL, and maybe he pulled a few strings to get himself on the throne in TL-191. He is an unlikely choice, but the most probable in the circumstances.

Maybe. I always figured that Great Britain was like Italy because it became was we would call Facist, just like Italy did. And when the war didn't work out, Churchill and Mosley were ousted out of office just like Mussolini was in OTL.

This referring to his first or second deposition? I don't recall references to Churchill and Moseley being murdered.....

They weren't murdered, just simply taken out of power in a vote of no confidence. The Italian government did the same to Mussolini in 1943.

But TL-191's Britain wasn't a repressive police state. Hell the only thing that made it different from real life Britain was a stronger desire to go to war in the 1940s. |

hahaha, true. And I just imagined Featherston with Heydrich's basic head-shape, but just a little rougher. Excluding hair color

Jake Featherston looks like Joseph Goebbels and/or Sean Penn - I thought everyone knew that!
