Benkarnell: Entry 2
Benkarnell: "It's a tall order, because there's not much of a harmonious way to integrate the dragon into the crosses. My contribution is a more-or-less heraldic banner, one of the few types of flag that looks good when there are lots of bright contrasting colors. The Welsh flag is not properly speaking a coat of arms, but the dragon and the background are very heraldic-looking, so I think they fit the overall look of the other three sections. The sections are arranged to correspond to the UK's geography, another breach of heraldic custom, but since this is a modern flag I think it's forgivable."
