U.S. Enlistment Numbers in WWII

I would like to see a year-by-year listing of enlistment numbers for the U.S. from 1941-1945. For example, the number of people serving in the armed forces in December 1941, then in December 42, December 43, etc. It doesn’t have to be broken down into branches or anything; just a total for each year. Estimates are okay and it doesn’t have to be at exact one year intervals, but as close as possible.

The multivolume official history of the US armed forces in the local library has those numbers. Probably in the volume on mobilization.
