Federation of the British Isles (FBI)


After the collapse of Irish Nationalism in the 1850s, the unexpected rise of Irish Unionism took on a deeper meaning after its basic priciples took root in Scotland. The growth of Unionism in Scotland quickly spread to Wales and England. While a good many of these so called Unionists would become mixed up in the Communist Coups of the 1890, unionism itself was seen as an effective counter to communism. Two years after the end of the Great War in 1919 and the drain on the UK's economy Unionists in Dublin, London, and Edinburgh gained the support of the veterans who could not find work or feed their families. As the revolutionists gained territory te Royal Family was flown to Canada for their own safety. The next move of the Unionists would....

White is for England
Blue is for Scotland
Green is for Ireland
Red is for Wales.
The modified triskellion represents the capital on the Isle of Mann. It also reprensents that all four parts of the FBI are moving as one.

Entry 3

Flag of the United Kingdom
The obvious change here is the use of the heraldic symbols for each nation rather than the cross of the respective Patron Saint. At the Act of Union between England and Scotland, the Scottish flags colours were reversed and the rampant lions tripled to match the English crest. At the inclusion of Ireland the bands of Leinster Blue were added to the top and bottom.
