The inspiration for this came from the Turning Point: Fall of Liberty maps. The (ASB) scenario is that Nazi Germany wins WW2 in Europe and in the early 1950's invades North America. The Nazis took the coast and were pushing inland when the US dropped Atomic bombs on New York, Washington DC, Boston, Philadelphia, Richmond and Savannah. Stunned by the "Jewish Wizard-Bomb", the Nazis stall. The two sides are technically still at war, but direct hostilites have ceased. Instead, both sides rush to build a nuclear arsenal. Already with the know-how, the Americans are ahead in the race, and are plotting the take-back of the Eastern Seaboard from the National Socialist States of America, a German puppet government. In Central America, the US controls northern Mexico while Mexico, in effect a US puppet goverment, has fought another Nazi puppet, the Aryan States of Mexico and Central America, to a standstill. The capital of the US is, in defiance of the Nazi's, Chicago. The Canadians have chosen a safer Vancouver, as the US has annexed southern Ontario in the face of swift Nazi attacks. For now, both sides catch their breath. But storm clouds fill the horizon, and a final conflict is inevitable.

This is a real french technocratic group that if things went a little better for them they could of installed there government into France and Belgium.
The UK was very wary of this but backed down in fear of another "Great War" which the British where not ready for at the time.

Technocrats in Germany with more of a Yankee style of technocratic governmental ideas rised against the Nazis later during 1944 with the help of the X-Crise's Army. Although there are conflicting ideas with the German and French technocrats.

The Second World War started a lot earlier with the French involvement in the Spanish Civil war. Italy then later Germany got involved.

This map includes all the territory controlled by X-Crises France at some point since 1932 AD.

The POD started around 1932, in case you wanted to know.
Fixed some minor details to the map...

Here is my second try at a map. This time The POD is that Maria Theresa is born a boy, and proves to be a more than capable leader. The Habsburgs remain on the Spanish throne, and become a more potent force in the Mediterranean than they would have otherwise. The Austrian branch of the Habsburgs trades Bavaria for the Austrian Netherlands, and under the Wittelsbachs those dominions expand significantly. There is still a French Revolution, but it peters out after Revolutionary armies get bogged down in Germany and really only serves as an excuse for the German states to absorb each other in order to "present a united front to the Gaulish invader". The grey border is the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation, although it functions much like OTL's German Confederation and only has a different name because the Habsburgs wanted it to. Other than that little else is different. So here is Europe in the Early 1800's. What do you guys think?

I like it. Austria all the way! However, there are some minor difficulties with the map. Maria Theresa was an immensely capble leader, some say she was the reason the Austrian Empire lasted all the way to 1918. It's gonna be hard to improve on that. Austria also owned Lombardy and Venetia OTL, did they get butterflied away? Also, you can't really have the French revolutions "peter out". These people were MAD, and the best we can hope for is that they stay in France and don't inspire revolution elsewhere, as they did OTL. Lastly, one aesthetic thing. I would change the color of the Ottomans to something less black, its hard on the eye. Otherwise, cool map.

That's Entente-occupied territory. Luxembourg got steamrolled.

I thought it was one at first at first, but then I realized that that was just Entente-occupied Germany. Luxembourg is still its tiny self, and also under Entente occupation.

Edit:Oh, rvbomally said it first.

Thats one of the aweomest maps I've seen in a while.

While the scribbling and defacing do make it very realistic I think their might be a little to much.

I gave it to a friend and said "okay, scribble on it." Blame them.

If the Austrian branch of the family is so strong in southern Germany, it would be interesting if they could regain Habsburg.

Wow, very impressive how that turned out. I also know how many weeks you have been working into that one...

That's awesome.

I see Ford was less concerned about the historical and cultural value of Kyoto than Truman was in OTL.

The world in 1800, near the end of the War of Byzantine Succession. The war began because of a Turkish objection to a Russian-Byzantine Personal Union that would have ended a long period of Byzantine weakness and allied it to the rising power (ITTL the Agricultural Revolution began in Russia) of Russia. Therefore they declared war, and got defeated. Striping represents Personal Unions (the senior partner is not striped).

POD is in the 1300's.

I was going to start a map series earlier when I realized I did'nt have a GCS map that I would need to do so, so I made one.

A more realistic Kaiserreich (as in the HOI2 mod) world in 1936;
